Kimili Flash Embed 1.0 Released!
After much time and much input from all of you, I’ve finally put together Kimili Flash Embed version 1.0 for both Wordpress and Textpattern. As part of the coordinated platform release, Kimili Flash Embed takes advantage of the latest Flash Object code. There is greatly expanded functionality, improved compatibility, and easier usage.

The bgcolor tag works now fine with SimpleViewer (TXP release).

I have the Simpletags plugin installed. If I enable the Flash plugin, it disables Simpletags.
Guess I go back to the drawing board at finding a flash plugin for now :(

I fixed the feed validation issues by commenting out line 266 and 300.
Line 266: $out[] = ’// ’;
This is where the feed was messing up. You’ll probably want to fix this for the next release. Other than that, this plugin is great!! Nice work!!

That’s a decent workaround to get the feeds validating, but really, I don’t think the flash embed code should be included in the feed at all. An aggregator won’t display it, so it makes no sense to be there in the first place. I’ll have a look into this for the next update.

I agree Michael. Be careful when installing this plugin on a blog that has Subscribe2 installed. It broke my subscribe page functionality…
Any updates on when the next version will be released? This plugin basically broke my Subscribe plugin. Other than that, it’s a great plugin!

This plugin is not compitable with sitemap plugin from http://www.dagondesign.com
Can you check into this please for next release. I will post on the sitemap author too.

This plugin isn’t compatible with click counter. It’s a shmae because your work is really great exept those compatibility problems!

There’s a new version of the plugin available that takes care of all the existing compatibility issues that have been reported to me. Go forth and download…
