Killing Comments - For Now Anyway

The onslaught has gotten too way too out of hand to deal with humanely. Wave after wave of comment spam has been infesting this site for far too long now. The last thing I need here is loads of bogus links promising nubile young actresses in various states of undress and prescription-free procurement of performance enhancers.
I am simply tired of chasing them all down and constantly deleting them. I’ve decided to take the somewhat more drastic step of completely disabling comments on the site. Unfortunately, a side effect of this is that all legitimate comments which have been made in the past are not displayed.
This site is in the process of being overhauled – brought up to speed by rebuilding it in the latest version of Textpattern – without using hacks (yay!). That alone will help stem the tide of all the unwanted muck and give this site back some dignity. Watch for it in the coming weeks…
